hahaa after all that, we weren't mobilized again, highly probably due to the H1N1 scare so ended up staying at home after all~ since that weekend I have been having quite an affinity for the phrase "Day 3" as I embarked upon a photographic journey after another... Here's 3 main reasons why.

1. Science Camp 2009 AKA SCAMP 09

The inaugural SCAMP 09! I remembered taking really nice photos from SCAMP 08 when alan was the camp director last year so I thought since i had some free time on wednesday before commencement gown bag packing, i decided to head down to SCAMP with my trusty 450D to capture on their Day 3! Unfortunately, when i got there ready to capture their station games at the SRC, it started to drizzle for a long long time.. so the campers were all in LT32 cheering~ As my hopes were dashed for a passing cloud, i quickly fixed on my flash and 'click' went the shutter~

Later on as the rain persisted, the organisers moved the station games indoors! had some trouble with the white balance due to the yellow ceilings when I used bounce flash and tried to corrected it as much as possible.. but due to ambient light combined with my flash, some photos look abit off... =\

grabbed dinner as there were extra and called it a day about 9pm~~ back home to zzzzz

2. Sports Camp 09

As a matter of fate, my tasking as an emcee for the ICAT was cancelled as they decided to allocate a more experienced MC for this massive large scale event to be held at the suntec.. was alittle dissapointed but relieved at the same time.. so instead of only coming on friday, i contacted Hua Cheng, the camp director, and made a trip down on wednesday, Day 3!! Strangely yet again, when i got to the grand stand at the SRC, it started RAINING again... and it was sunny at sengkang when i left! OMG... so the morning station games were cancelled as the campers played games at MPSH2.. after that there was a talk by Sapura Technologies on Apple Inc which was kinda boring, but i was super surprised when they gave out 1x Ipod Shuffle, 1x Ipod Nano and 1x Ipod TOUCH after the talk in a quiz! ARGH!!! INBAAA!!!

after the talk the weather finally cleared up so i followed hua cheng out in a car as the campers embarked on an amazing race around singapore! first off we went to Redynasty at Yishun Bottle Tree Park where they played paintball! was quite exciting taking photos through a facemask (it was not easy i tell you!) while in the playing field as pellet flew all over the place with one flying right in front of my eyes! thank god I wasn't hit! after that we went to Adam Road for lunch (NASI LEMAK!! YUMMY) before heading to Blackmore road where I also got the chance to try rolling down a slope in a ZorgBall! Later on we headed down bukit timah road to Udders were they had really nice Mao Shan Wang Ice Cream! Finally we made a stop near queenstown MRT where the campers were trying out the PowerRiser! Was tiring following the sports campers around but was fun taking photos of these new stuff I don't usually see!

3. Charlotte Lee 3 Days Old!!

Yeah my niece was born on 30th June 09!! hahaa she's a june baby too! bet she'll be as bright as me when she grows old! muhahaa! but looking at it, she really is a beautiful baby!!! hahaa my sis-in-law and mom keep saying it.. kinda jealous coz my mom used to say I was quite an ugly baby!! (thankfully I grew better looking when I aged) *coughs coughs* So after 3 days, since i was busy with sports camp, i headed down to my brother's house after Charlotte was discharged and paid her a visit! She sure sleeps alot!! barely opened her eyes once or twice to see her uncle! boohooo~ nvm... shall be patient and upload even nicer photos of Charlotte that she will have a HUGE BABY ALBUM!! lucky her huh!! =D

Thats all folks!!! Next week its Commencement Ceremonies Galore! Still thinking how to bring my camera in since I'm working as an usher for VIPs... most prob cant take photos while on duty~ hopefully can make it for my friend's ceremonies so can take photo!! =DD
