Heys people!!! OMGGG its like 2 months since I've blogged! kudos to pam for reminding me~ hahaaa like come on how can i lose to her? This blog has its roots from February 2004 can! Omg... its 5 years old! hahaaa shit im old~ anyways many many many things has happened since my last post~ think was close to CNY? haha nothing about life nowadays is new with exams looming overhead.. but well being the good old me, i still stick to enjoying myself and only studying when i feel like it... though people may think i'm a hypocrite who secretly studies, i don't really! But when i do, i must admit my time spent studying is pretty fruitful and all! But well you want to be a nerd with cap 5.0 then i'm not a person you should compare to man! Simple, satisfying life like me? Just enjoy yourself!! Life's short man!

Well what can i blog about for 2months? I can say its a really tough journey, but my TR2201 project is starting to look really fun and nice! Also our group seems closer and all but we just dont have the time to go out and drink and be merry! But well after today's meeting we decided to cerebrate right after our exams! Wheee! WhATAAO ROCK!!!

I have to admit i'm a very harsh person when it comes to people who do not meet my satisfaction that even my mom commented that i wasn't very gentlemanly in the way i treat her.. but i do believe in equality between men and women... so why should a woman be given special concession just because she's a girl? Well, guess i really would be a stiff and tough boss in the future! But well.. you can't please everyone, and as long as the show goes on, its alright if some insignificant and unmotivated people are dropped out~

OH I ALMOST FORGOT.. MY LAO PO 3 CRASHED!!! OMFG... yeah.. Acer Aspire XXXX (can't remember the code) just died on me as i was playing Dawn of War 2 halfway through.. it could boot but the screen was all vertical lines.. brought it to challenger since it was in its 2nd year warranty but found out it was only for software, so i rushed down a cab from home to acer service center at Jurong East to send it for servicing.. since they had a long queue, the staff told me to drop off for repair so i signed a form and submitted.. Days later they sms me and quote me $600 for a change of motherboard and $80 labour charge + 7% svc charge.. THAT IS LIKE $740++ CAN! ACER may think i'm an idiot but this value IS FUCKING DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!! Its like a old motherboard and all.. so of course i rejected the quotation and when i went back to collect, they had the fucking cheek to ask me pay $50 for "VERIFICATION CHARGE".. like what the FUCK is that? They merely boot my com, open my back see the problem = 10min or so? And they charge me $50 fucking bucks to get a broken laptop back! I was so furious i wanted to fuck that guy over the counter up, but being in the customer service field, i decided not to and just paid the $50 and stormed out..

after days of sourcing a new laptop, i finally bought my Compaq CQ45! 2.4GHz, 3MB L2 Cache, 4GB Ram, Nvidia G105 and all the basic stuff for $1.6k from challenger again... coz this guy was pretty sympathetic when i shared with him my experience with FUCKING ACER (Yes please, Acer HR staff who google what people say about your company.. yes your company is FUCKED UP!!) so he offered to upgrade my ram to 4GB for free and also gave me a member discount of about $60.. of course i didnt just fall for it and went to other electronic stores and all, but they never gave me special deals that appealed.. i was stuck between a laptop with a 2.13GHz processor with the same specs for everything else at $1.3k, but after i asked them to upgrade to 4GB ram they charge me $1.5kish.. so for about $80 more, i decided to settle with my current Lao Po 3B! hahaaa! Lucky i backed up my important data not too long ago so the loss is minimal.. but no more photoshop, the colour is not calibrated at all.. zzz i'm so sick of the laptop blue hue!! sobzz...

Oh another good news is I've been elected as the Vice President of the SRJC Alumni Association! Well I'm already the President of the SRJC Canoeing Alumni Chapter, but this is the main school alumni.. I gotta admit that things are looking bleak at the moment thats why such a young alumni like me can take up office, but i hope to bring in my expertise in heartshare and make the alumni strong! I've never been in an alumni before, but I have a strong passion in bringing people back and making them believe in something they know they do, but suppress it... I have to admit that my loyalties lie with my beloved SRJC Canoeing Alumni, but I also wish to test myself in seeing what thought to be impossible feats I can do for the main school alumni! SRJC Alumni will be rebuilt to its glorious days, the path will be long and tough.. But years down the road, I will turn back to this day and say,

WE'VE DONE IT!

haha this is long but I must announce something about Raison D'etre Photography! Though the last post was on a very pessimistic and self degradatory mode, i have refound my purpose in photography and re-established my love in the messages that my photos portray to the world.. No longer will i do photogrpahy for others.. but more for myself.. i was especially happy when my photos won the NUSPS Captured compeition as merit prizes against 200 over photos and exhbited in the NUS Central Forum.. Also the pleasure and satisfaction when my friends see the photos there and even those i sent to the Biological Sciences Society for their newsletter, those simple words like "Wow Deming I saw your name and pictures!".. "Wow they're really nice!" really touches my heart... One day I will have an exhibition of my own.. The Raison D'etre Exhibition... It will be much later in the future when i perfect my photography.. But with friends and supporters abound, my photos will be dedicated to the beauty of photography and to all of you!
