Phew... now at home STILL waiting for the mobilization but its already 11am btu still nothing! damn... if really activate at 1pm, sure drag until super super late!! i woke up at 6 to bathe and change but since no activation, i went on to sleep.. probably coz I was keeping myself subconsiously awake more than usual, i remembered this strange but funny dream I had!

I started off with a group of friends in this kinda waterfront attraction park, when I saw an otter swimming around and a group of other people looking at it happily.. i went close and was also amused by its jovialness and cuteness and struggling to take a photo with my DSLR (haha!), it swam below the planks to the other side of a jetty like thing then another guy started swimming with it, playing tricks with it.. strangely while playing fetch, it ate the ball and the man brought it up and hid behind a pillar to ply it out, but when the duo came out, it was a DOG! hmm...

after the attraction was over, this part was more fuzzy, but apparently I tried to break into soemthing but was caught and put to jail (LOLX).. apparently I was made to drag corpses of people executed by policemen looking people with other inmates.. I was doing it more enthusiastically than others and 2 ladies, one of them i know! (lolxx detention officers?) seemed strangely helpful.. after the deed was done, i was pulled out from the detail and had a fun and enjoyable chat with one of the ladies (cant remember who and what) until everyone was gone.. she strangely gave me money to be shared with the inmates when she was called aside by one of the superiors so as i was kinda stranded, scurried off in the direction the other inmates went..

it led to a multi story vehicle park complex where i went in and found one of my friend from a group, and stumbled onto 2 other guys that I know! (another "guest appearance") who was just as lost as i was.. then suddenly from the lift came out N*than (yes our head of state!) wearing shades and a white cast! The first lady even had a strange chat with us and gave us an angbao each for no reason~ hahaa! after that was another blur but somehow the multi storey complex became a cave that i was locked in (supposedly) but that lady came and somehow got me out and was telling me the dark secrets (i think) of the prison and how everything can be heard or seen from outside the cave but not the other way round! lolx

then.... *RING RING* the phone rang and I woke up abruptly thinking its the mobilization call! but end up was one of my friends and hence ended my strange but fun dream/nightmare~ lolx! Obviously I very tired from yesterday's gown bag packing but still forced to wake up so early thats why have this kinda weird but fun dreams! hahaa rarely do i remember it to such detail so must pen down!!

Wow.. Yet another long awaited blog update! Hahaa strangely I often find myself preparing the blog entry on the NEL home from school just like in term time.. its just too damn boring to do nothing in the train when I can’t sleep! So might as well right! Hmm where should I start…

Oh yah! My 23rd birthday is over! Hahaa 23 doesn’t sound appealing at all just like 22, so I was pretty much decided on just having a simple meal with parents to commemorate and its over~ So it was a good surprise to hear fabby/junkok and huimin organizing a class outing and greenies outing respectively to cerebrate my birthday! We went to Modesto’s on my birthday with my classmates at Vivocity where I had this pasta with a incredibly long Italian name AKA baby lobster pasta.. Had a nice cheesecake from Bakerzin! Thanks fabby and jk for putting this simple get together and for my long time jc classmates to make time to cerebrate with me! Really touched!!

On Sat, I met the greenies in the evening after some alumni work in the morning at clark quay.. was abit tired so wasn’t as on as I usually was, but as usual, green team time is never a boring one! Too bad caelan and lewis weren’t around.. Feels abit diff man.. Sobs… get back quick! Hahaa so we went to Waraku Clark Quay and was served by a man who seemed to undergo PMS and his very polite senior (I think).. Waraku service sure needs some standardization man.. There I also had my second cake, and its Bakerzin Cheesecake too! Hahaa maybe you think its cheapskate (since its 50% off) but I like it and it’s the thought that counts man! Thanks Greenies!! Later on we walked about before we went to Brewerkz for drinks! Haha its nostalgic coz its also the first time we went drinking with the other greenies.. Luckily for me timbre was fully booked so I didn’t have to be sabohed up to the stage to do a pole dance! Lolx.. getting too old for such punishment games! Hehz! But once again the green team touches me for remembering all my birthdays (ever since my 22nd so far~ haha!)

So life goes on though I don’t have a job, been helping out the NUS Office of Corp Relations with some projects mainly for commencement so haven’t been going down to paddle with the juniors. Starting today will be doing more jobs with them for gown bag distribution at NUS MPSH-1.. Now just waiting for mobilization this sat and then the actual commencement ceremonies in early July before ICT on 13th. Also popped by NUS yesterday to take some pics for SCAMP 2009. Very sad that it kept drizzling non-stop yesterday so all shots were indoors with my noisy and high ISO photographs! Somemore today so sunny! Damn it!!

On a happy (or pleased mood), I FINALLY got the damn acceptance letter for SEP so finally got in touch with other students going University of Toronto for SEP this coming semester through the International Relations Office. Sadly Science SEP are really stubborn with the privacy policy and refused to reveal details of other students until I could verify that I got the acceptance letter. From IRO I only know theres 1 other science, 2 arts and 1 law student going at the same time.. hopefully can firm things up quick with them and book the air tix before they get any more expensive!! Woots! So exciting! Soon its July then its August and off I go for my holidays in Canada!! Sure hope I am fortunate enough to not get H1N1 there man! *prays hard*

Oh I just bought this Zara Tee I have been eyeing since Jan 2009!! Luckily for me I was at Vivocity after bringing my camera and lens for a checkup (I thought its fungus but THANK GOD its just dust) when I saw Zara Sale so quickly go dig and found this ONE LAST M sized hybrid tee that was never worn before (all buttons nicely in place and tight) Saved $20! hahaa.. Fortune favours the patient baby!!

woohoo! Its June! 1 more month any my niece is coming!! wheee~ Little Miss Charlotte Lee~ hahaa~ My fav month of the year! coz its school holidays/usual vacation period and my birthday month~~ Gemini rockkssssssss~!! Birthdays aren't exactly fun anymroe esp since it also means my IPPT window is closing~ haha unfortunately I couldn't jump far enough to save my life from missiles and bullets in the war, so SAF will slap me with a nice nice present called Remedial Training = RT~~ Oh wells.. I needed the work out and motivation, so i guess being forced to do training if not facing military punishment will be good enough motivation? cheers to IPPT and SBJ man! Love them dup deup~~

On a happier note (was i sad?), I finally got my first contact with University of Toronto, informing me of the approval of exchange~ Though I have to wait for the official documents in another 2 weeks time, I finally feel excited again and started looking into air tickets and accomodation options~ I also found out you have to pay CND$1 for every ATM transaction! OMG!! Tipping is customary too! Oh man.. I'm so gonna have a culture shock!!

Went to Marina Square for a surprise birthday cerebration for fabian! Organised by his gf yue zhi~! hahaa surprisingly he was really surprised as he didn't expect it~! We also shared to buy him a pedro voucher to spend! we ate at waraku casual dining~ food was not too bad~ but service SUCKS... yes it sucks! 3 good reasons: 1. The waitress didn't hear me asking for ice water 2. Waitress forgot to take my order 3. When I took the drink menu to decide on what to get, she walked away after passing the menu before i could tell her my order... OMFG.. worst service EVER! never gonna go there again... shit place man~ oh btw...

meanwhile though I aint cerebrating my birthday this year again, its nice that the greenies are organising an outing for the june babies next week! woots I can't wait! Been getting money from my relatives for me to buy myself a present... so now I kinda deliberating if I should get the Tamron 18-270mm lens for Canon or but a Panasonic Lumix LX-3 prosumer for my trip to Canada~ Decision decisions!!!
