arrhh.. finally its ALL OVER!! But i gotta admit, this semester's are an all-time low in my life man... my 3 core modules that i too so much pains to study and prepare, yet all i can do is scribble and guess during the examinations... though my GEK and SSA should secure me at least a B+, I have serious doubts about my core modules... at a point of time, I didn't know if I should just hate myself for not preparing better or for me to be so stupid.. Its such a demoraliser as I did aim to push myself up alittle more to the 4.0 range.. but seeing as to how things are going, I can only hope i don't fall below 3.5...

Then again, I never strike 4D before... lets see how true my prediction is late december! but for now....
ITS LIFE BACK AGAIN!!! first thing after my SSA paper on friday evening, i went out with johan sarah huiling and weekeat to IMM for dinner at ichiban sushi~ had a good meal + asahi beer to commemorate the end of a tedious time for me.. though it took me a good 1 and a half hours to get home, i had a good and peaceful nap and rest that I never had for close to 3 full weeks.. Just so glad it was all over..
First order of business today was the Canon EOS Academy workshop that I spearheaded for the SRJC alumni.. was alittle late but to my pleasant surprise the trainer was gerald~ haha dunnoe if i mentioned before but he's like my senior in photographer cum mentor! too bad he's a nikonian! hahaa.. but well quite a handful last min cannot make it or plainly didn't turn up that got me alittle dissapointed for all the work we put in for this workshop to happen... but after awhile we filed up just nice and every participant had a DSLR just nice to try out~ was actually pretty fun to have this kinda familiarisation workshop and if i was ever given the job to teach photography i think i'm really gonna enjoy it!
After weeks of shutter-deprivation, heres the spoils of the day! =]
arrhh.. I really really really LOVE photography... Lighting and Colours are really so beautiful when you really stop and look around to appreciate the world... after weeks of heart itching, i finally settled down my urge to get the Canon EOS 5D MkII... primarily due to its cost of $4000 now just for the body~ told myself that I will get it next year June... till then i shall work hard and earn money and make myself worthy of the 5D MkII!!

Want to Buy AKA WTB... Somehow when i get bored studying for exams, a urge to do retail therapy also grips me tight. Like Year 1 Sem 2 reading week when i got so sick of mugging that i convinced myself to buy the 450D within 2 days of consideration. Lolx~ so here is my WTB of Year 2 Sem 1!!

haha finally got SOMETHINGSSSS to blog about~ Didn't wanna bore you guys about how 'eggciting' it is to calculate stats or have a pukefest over cell bio~ Yesterday before i went to sch, guess what i saw the moment i stepped out of my lift at the ground floor? A palm size kitty dashing towards me meowing away!! OMG... my legs just melted there! I was like "Oh man i gotta take a photo of it!!" but then coz yesterday i was preparing for my stats exam I decided not to.. Sadly when i returned victorious that night, the kitten was no way to be found~ sobzz... Hope it found greener pastures (Or bigger fishes) elsewhere...
The affinity with cats don't just die there~ hahaa been uploading some pics on flickr group of the NUSPS and finally one of my pic got selected as the Picture of the week!(http://www.nusps.org.sg/portal/) Yipee!! No prize of course~ but its kinda encouraging to know that you can do it too amidst all the other amazing photographers~~ and the winning picture was thanks to kittens too! hahaa here's the picture of the week #4:

hahaa guess its also partially cause i'm born in the year of tiger~? i always had this liking for felines like cats too~ But yeah i prefer them young and playful, kittens esp! Just like me.. (pukes) But if you ask me what pet i would keep, it'll have to be a dog since its like consistent from young to old... unlike cats who become lazy and evil looking when they're adults~ hahaa!
oh yeah the other good news was this morning my mom message me saying "Come next year july, somebody's gonna call you chek chek!" I just woke up and was alittle dazed.. read the message and went back to sleep.. then when i woke up i was like "HUH?!" hahaa finally huhz~~ my mom's dream come true~ can "Bao sun" and I got my first little baby model to come in july 2009! hahaa he/she so gonna love this uncle for the wonderful baby pictures i'm gonna take of him/her! I can't wait!! =DD
and yah! reality check: 2 weeks to exams, 3 weeks to holidays! Already done up my christmas shopping list: new bag, new shoes, new style, new camera and new macbook! hahaa but yeah as usually its a wish list (to be exact) given the economic downturn, I've gotta be more careful on what i should buy. All these are wants, but if you have money and dont splurge alittle, whats the diff between you and an animal that just eats to live? =D consumerism is the way of life people!! embrace it!! ;)
oh did i mention i'm having exams in 2 weeks time? haha time to MUG MUG MUG!!!

Tis' the season to be GG~ shalalalaa lalalaaaa~~ Man this week has TOTALLY been a GG week man~~ losta shit been happening and worst of all, it past in a blink of an eye... bad blood... frustrated feelings... irritated by friends... handphone problem... and more~~ yet another "Shit Happens Week"... feeling si beh sian now... but no choice must mug and do miniproject... well at least the only good thing that happened to me this week was this:
