hahaz... sausage fest the term quite common nowadays ar.. but i think its only applicable to f*** up clubs you go *couGhs cb coughs* when the place is filled with strangers of the male genus.. haha.. but everytime go out with my old classmates from SRJC or st gabs.. think abt it.. we graduated in 2004 and 2002 respectively.. its already 2006.. how many frenships can you keep up till now without breaking contact?? to me.. thats called brotherhood..
true today was quite lonely for me.. but luckily chia hong and alvin came along.. was abit regretful when i couldnt really entertain them.. lOLx.. didnt expect my other relatives to come so early.. but well nvm.. at least tml will see them and more for our gathering... hopefully the ladies will attend as well coz the teachers did ask if i could get the gals to come along as well... see what i can do lar huh?
alvin and chia hong already left so here i am lonelily blogging and checking out frenzter... seeing my frenz upadted profiles and new pictures.. haha.. my benq camera got spoilt from my trip to australia so think i gotta buy a new one before i go to india... show you guys what i did in india for another month as an armour officer... hehz... thats the only way i can quell my quiet solace and loneliness in india ba.. besides i have my buddy officers... keng yang my roommate and my men with me... its just the thought of going india for another month from the 22 feb aches me abit...

hahaz.. this year so far been really good for me... got into a good company of great soldiers... got marksman for my ATP... improving my socialising skills... getting on good terms with my men... its been really smooth so far.. think its a promising year of the dog for me.. how abt you guys? =]
went temple to pay respects to my grandparents today before slacking till night when my relatives came by just now... monday my house will be open to welcome any frenz who wanna come.. just come lar.. dont need to be shy.. i take pride in being a good host.. hahaz.. somemore it brightens up my cny also mahz...
then tuesday think most prob will meet at kovan mrt at 9.30am to go visit our teachers.. hope the class alot of ppl can go.. so more fun... even the teacher also hope all of us go.... hehz...

time really flies.. 3 weeks has passed since i assumed pc position in 40SAR.. up till now i havent really fully take over but things are gradually changing for myself... i finally got to talk to the specialists and got more familar with my ps... even the platoon guys are becoming more friendly with myself.. of coz in the army the distinction between a commander and man must be maintained.. but as we're now in admin phase its heartening to see them warming up towards you..
one thing i believed in was being myself as a PC and to keep my values and personality.. sincerity was most important i believed as a leader to gain the trust and respect of your men.. and it seems to be working le.. hahaz.. i also conducted interviews to really get to know them well... interviews i always been for last less than 4min but i really asked abt them and chat abt their lives to know them better and it seems to be rubbing off quite well le... hahaz.. even when i talked to them just now before they booked out their response was a huge diff from when i first talked to them... lets hope it keeps up that way and see how it goes yup??
i'll be going to india for an exercise from 22 feb to 20 march.. another month burnt huh? but i hope the experience will be as great as wallaby.. the full strength of armour showcased in its glory... hehz.. i also getting more gam with my buddy keng yang and the other ppl in the coy like the other PS... i even got MARKSMAN for my advanced trainfire package~ hahaz.. last time i reshoot 3 times then barely passed my basic range leiz.. hahaz... yeah $200 richer.. hehz..
but i will be attending a company tactics course on 6april onwards for a month.. just went back to safti mi to the singapore advanced schools(nv thought i'll ever step there in my life) for a pre course brief.. got our precis and even met up with my old instructors in delta wing.. LTA lester and melvin.. hahaz.. great to see them again.. now all of us officers.. hahaz.. they also quite proud that we were going cTc so soon.. being sword winners from delta wing before... just hope it doesnt take out too much time from my platoon...
hahaz as you can see my life is really busy with army now... my committment is 'in service of my men'.. trying to find some recruitment options for some of my men who expressed interest in signing up but ignored... hopefully can touch their lives yup? =] as such i've been so tied up i realised i didnt have the loneliness i used to have as a cadet.. that sometimes i just want to talk or meet up with someone.. now that im so busy i think i also neglect my social life le...

phEW.. one hella long week for me man.. just came back this morning nia... monday till thursday was my battalion profficiency test.. but i was only shadowing my upperstudy and all.. as expected, alot of things enforced in school were not apparent in unit... we never did a single AHS or BOS during the whole ex.. the VP was very casual and all.. all of them were in ORD mood lar.. loLX... but being the reserve company's reserve platoon, we had it easy this time round... we just kept protecting flanks and seated in the depth and all.. so we never contacted any enemy lest the attack mission...
the xiong part is the weather.. it rained alot remember? so as PC standing up we were totally drenched and could not change until the mission was completed... even the goretex jacket couldnt stop myself from shivering like crazy.. the cool thing is they allow camp food and i was the only one in the vehicle eating any combat rations at all.. i only brought 3 cans which i regretted and the men happily shared their canned food with me.. shiok man..
come back le is recovering and all lar.. had imt in prep for tml's atp.. hope i can pass in it man.. then i was doing battalion duty officer yesterday from 8am till today 8pm.. first time somemore the first.. the briefing we had before was superficial so i had to learn it the hard way.. hahaz.. but life was relax after the morning reports were submitted.. was watching ff10 game movie my duty clerk brought.. was overall quite fun lar.. like the turnout of guards and all.. hahaz.. but i quite welfare le ba.. only did it after the movie 'we were soldiers' still love that movie manz.. damn cooL

nothing much today.. just read my comics and watched the last episode of shuffle.. isn't much of an ending lorz... bleahz.. lousy... the other anime i d/ling is excruciatingly slow... bth manz... thought the upgrade in plan automatically the speed will increase.. but still as slow.. think havent upgrade yet ba...
went to compass point for lunch with mom... bought a whiteboard with the markers and duster for my future office.. think wont be bringing it in till my upperstudy leaves ba.. dont wanna take up his space... also checked my radio i won from a lucky draw.. think was prom ar.. loLx.. still works.. cooL man.. think bringing it in when i get my space too.. heHEz..

hmmz.. actually came back on wednesday for a nights out... coz i had to update my passport at SIR.. got it done then went back le so not much time to blog.. the 14 1/2 km route march felt kidna long though was not tough at all.. given we were in SBO and walking really slowly.. but it was still our hari raya haji leiz.. bleahz...
over this week did abit of stuff lar.. mostly following my upperstudy who happens to be my council senior back in SRJC remy... seems like he is quite zai.. got quite abit to mark up for myself wor.. hahaz.. the old commanders are good too.. and my Platoon sargeat rajoo can see is damn zai too... given such great guys to work with i gotta say i think i really need to improve myself alot more..
did talk to them here and there.. my runner eugene.. the MG gunners henry peter and shaun.. and some guys from jaguar previously in BMT.. funny to become their PC when we were all recruits back then.. also met my section mate from BMT wilson but was in platoon 10... oh yah.. i'm the incoming PC for Cougar Company platoon 11.. last section of the battalion but seems like its quite common for my platoon to take point.. diff SOP ba.. hahaz.. jialat le.. must brush up navi skills..
did some interviews too.. the rumours were true abt men having more problems.. but i think i enjoy interviewing them as a way to break the ice.. sharing my aspirations and hearing their woes.. its pretty cool to be a PC after all.. hehz.. havent really take command yet.. will be observing how remy works and all.. will be changing command next week.. tml night book in will be going for BPT.. outfield for 4 days.. sob... hope my combat fitness didnt drop too badly.. hahaz..
last night was our new officer's initiation.. had a wild beer drinking session tekan by our senior officers.. tradition for armour to drink lotsa beer lar.. with our signature "I AM AN ARMOUR OFFICER" cheer b4 we drank up mugs, yards or even jugs of beer.. as usual they ask qns is confirm cannot answer one.. but i think i lucky le.. i just drank 4 mugs nia.. some were forced to drink yards and all.. but ever since SOA i drink beer wanna be garang so i always dunk it down in no time... always first to finish.. lOLx.. alot of the guys puked lar.. then i thought my alcohol level wasnt too bad (nv tested limit b4) but after helping the guys back to their bunks and helping my buddy put his blanket as he KOed on the floor as i lie on bed my head started spinning.. hahaz..
i woke up at 6am today feeling terrible but not puking.. its the feel of beer in your blood and it made me feel really crappy... urgh.. so now i know lar.. normally i can hold my liquor.. but when it mixes into the bloodstream is when i get it jialat jialat.. lOLx.. kkz lar got over it le.. will be going to get some stuff to put in my new office with a haircut... then will be booking in at 9pm tml..

yeap.. first day today.. took a cab this morning.. first thing was a really empty but it looked pretty nice in the light in a cooling morning.. waited at the lecture room before the DY S1 first thing tell us to change to pt kit le.. no intro no speech.. wait until everyone came.. stretched.. and off we went for a 3-4km RUN.. maybe a jog to them lar.. but a run to me.. lucky i wasnt the only one that was dying.. everyone couldnt keep up pace after a while.. lucky i ran quite some times so still can keep up..
then we went for breakfast with the upperstudies and found out im taking over cougar platoon 11.. the best platoon in battalion i think.. loLx.. sad thing is i wont ever have tanks le.. coz i AI platoon no more tact team.. sobZ.. good thing is my upperstudy say the PS and men very on the ball one.. shiok manz... just abit stress lar.. hahaz cougar best company somemore.. hEHehz...
checked into our officer bunks.. quite mediocre.. but ok lar.. then went for a SUPER long battalion level AAR of sorts.. was damn long.. lucky i was damn interested coz first time hear abt CSS elements.. link ups and all.. so i managed to keep awake most of the time... learnt alot today.. the only prob is we can only imagine.. coz we weren't at the FTX itself which they're reviewing.. pity...
weather's still screwed so i just cancelled the outing then the guys proposed to come over my place so i agreed lorz... hahaz.. anyways coz tml need to book in early for 16km route march.. though no set book in time.. some PC book in 7pm.. some 10 plus.. but i asked when our coy coming.. say at 8.. though the march starts at 12.. i might as well come early and book in with the man yup? hahaz..

just got back from hougang mall after dinner with my parents... todays not been much of a day.. been raining since yesterday till now... quite depressing actually... haiz... hmmz... oh yesterday went to meet my sotong family.. hahaz.. again cant stop feeling really happy to meet up with them... maybe coz they're the only ones that actually ask me out often? hahaz.. but also saw beng after 1 whole year.. got fatten and all le.. loLx.. but personality still nv change ar.. hehz..
went to orchard at first carrying the ladies' shopping stuff ard wisma.. saw hui teng there.. quite surprised he still remember me.. lOLx.. thought i go out with gf.. haiz.. i not so lucky lar huhz? =p later on we decided to walk to the glass house fish and co. for dinner.. abit ex lar.. but still pretty nice.. hehz..
did somemore shopping at ps.. though didnt buy anything.. only got the gelato ice cream and the 4 of us really loved it.. loLx.. funny to see 4 ppL chionging over one tub of ice cream.. hahaz.. thats what they call family ba hor? =] later we took train to marina bay and back again as beng dropped off and somerset and myself at orchard..
i was an hour early.. so continued to take a walk.. most of the shops were closing le.. so i went over to borders to look at some life sci books and looking for japanese books to learn for beginners yuPz... then went over to china black to meet rs, ys, donghai and hao yi... loLx.. was really empty so we went over for supper at mac.. met up with fabby, benji, emus and beng again.. loLx.. so qiao...
later on went back was more crowded le.. so we got our drinks and bought long island tea.. hahaz.. the most shiok one.. didnt expect rs to drink so much.. until she seh already.. say abit seh le but say just carry on dancing.. hahaz.. hao yi as usual dance like he on drugs lidat.. super high and weird dancing.. hahaz.. but hell.. its fuN~~ ys good dancer sia.. lOlx.. donghai was super sians.. probably coz no chiobus at all... and what they call a sausage fest.. all guys and the gals were few and old...
well i wasnt too bothered so i carried on to be immersed in the music.. later on rs' bf came along and they embraced and all.. loLx.. being a guy can understand lar.. of coz jealous mahz.. but they're attached anyways.. i only got concerened when she started falling ard.. loLx.. then i started feel damn guilty... reading abt all those news abt bad things happening to gals after drinking the guys were all really concerned.. the music started off pretty promising.. got me high at first.. then the music went on a steep incline..then the volume like increase also.. until ears pain.. so went out for a break...
came back again then rs left with her bf le.. just sms-ed her and candice lar.. just to make sure they make it back safely.. she still sober enough to reply lar.. so i went on dancing.. xcept the guys were at a all time low morale.. music sucks.. drink damn dilute.. ppl ciao-ing le.. so we decided to call it quits and 3.30am... took NR home when i was talking to donghai.. coz actually his fren came with us too.. he like very quiet and emotionless.. to my surprise he told me his fren just got ditched..
he got this job for his gf when she had problems.. but then at the shop got this guy who stays close to her.. so he always offer to drive her home on his bike.. so after a while the gal ditched him claiming the guy looks like jay chou... no wonder he looked so out.. those are the kind of ultimate bitches in the world if i was god i'll really punish... though it was painful in a way its good for him coz if his gf is this kinda slut it is a mater of time b4 they break up... but still i can feel his pain... when i looked at his face.. it pained me so much.... just like the song by black eye peas... "where's the love?"
dong also went on to talk abt me.. whether i had any gals in mind.. like any other time i gave my mind.. i always knew my height and looks were far from the ideal man.. i was a boring guy... all i hope for is to try to find the one in uni.. some say i too frenly to all.. army made me realise how much family was to me... they always stood by me and im grateful for it.. when dong struck me that if i had a gf.. she'll also be as close as a family to me... somehow that emptiness i have brushed aside for almost the whole of 2005 opened again... im 20 already.. what if i'll really stay on as a bachelor?
all ard i see attached frenz.. but no longer of puppy love i detest.. but some so close and intimate.. its almost like they can get married though they're not much odler than me... of coz i feel jealous.. who in the world doesnt want to be loved? somebody to think about.. somebody to dream about all the time... hahaz... such irony i'm thinking abt this as the radio is playing 3 doors down: here without you baby.. haiz.. try not to think too much abt it..

loLx.. today is one year from enlistment man.. abit cant believe it.. one year ago this is my first night in tekong bunks.. filled with insecurity and noisy bunkmates.. hahaz.. now i'm an officer relaxing at home~~ muAhahahaz... nothing much of a cerebration.. just finished a treadmill run... just had a MOS dinner.. (maybe a reward?)
wah tml i got soooo many things to do... at first i agreed to go to rs' ntu hall bash at cb... so night is gone le.. then my meiz ask me out for dinner too.. luckily in town too... so will be meeting them for dinner then going to cb... then just now one of my old platoon mates msg me abt a pool outing at bukit timah plaza.. (where i haf no idea where it is) in the afternoon.. loLx.. and i was thinking of visiting my grandma in redhill before going to meet my godsis... manz.. what should i do??

but well today i totally K.Oed in camp... being the 3rd person to take the test, i spent the rest of the day SLEEPING ... COMPLETELY SLEEPING.. last time at least i take small naps then talk cock.. today i slept thru the whole day on the floor.. woke up several times.. nothing to do then went back to sleep.. till my wish came thru.. and it was 5!! go homE le.. loLx.. i virtually spoke barely 10 sentences then.. =p besides my psp became a circulating arcade/entertainment centre.. ppl playing burnout or watching school rumble on my psp.. loLx..
just came home after supper at bk at changi airport!! hahaz.. sent eme off.. not as drama as i thought it'll be.. but my prayers go with him yup.. tough times will continue for him.. but to graduate from sandhurst is a big honour to have.. hehz... all the best emerson!! now on plane to germany..
haiz.. i've been working on trying to expend my film from my non-digital camera but now only got 17 shots.. need to take abt 36 otherwise it'll be damn wasted.. but in singapore what pictures can i take?? loLX!! somemore go out also paisey to ask ppl to pose for picture.. has been accumulating since xmas eve with my classmates.. soBZ... how much i wished i had a digicam again.. soBZ!

one thing i realised today the moment i left for camp was that the school holidays are over and sch just reopened... loLX.. made me feel SUPER nostalgic... still remember the days when i always woke up damn early to go to school to copy hw.. or when i tried to make it on this certain timing to take my bus to meet this pretty gal on the bus.. loLx.. school days were so fun manz... sobZ... somemore today it self saw 2 pretty gals from jc ones.. sobZ.. cant imagine im 2 years older than them... hahaZ~~
anyways today i effected my super saving plan... think should add it to my new year resolutions coz i spent so much in dec last year that i have a huge deficit... from small savings like not buying snacks or having canteen breaks to planning on a stay home life.. loLx... think i must really major in it le.. =p today oeti also same thing lar.. first grp so learn for like 30min till 9am then slacked all the way till 5.30pm till we dismissed.. today abit bored so we did some revision of what we learnt from armour by writing our thoughts on whiteboard..
emerson's leaving tml... actually felt like staying home to sleep instead.. though he isn't a really good fren.. he's still a fellow officer in training back in armour... besides he wont be back for years? dont think he'll appreciate me much also lar.. but its better than not meeting him at all yup?

loLx.. it feels the same yet diff leiz... phew.. 2006 means my scout unit's year too.. somemore is when i hit 20.. (countdown to 30) le.. loLx.. but still spending it like before.. today woke up and played battlefield 2: modern combat on xbox.. quite cooL with the graphics and plot.. but gameplay abit hard ar.. always kana rape by enemy one.. >.<
basically did a wardrobe removal today.. clearing out lots of old t-shirts from school or jc... also some old clothes that didnt really fit or is not my style anymore... but i already bought 1 shirt and 1 tee from bods.. think only left with buying a nice t-shirt.. thats why i went out to orchard today...
went to meet kiat loong, yong shen at dhoby ghaut first.. was surprised at first when ys told me evelyn, yvonne and shuhui were there too.. i seriously thought he was joking.. putting it in a nonchalant manner.. but they were there lar.. lOLx.. coz they went kbox earlier.. (i hate karoake by the way~) met up and played time crisis 3.. not bad ar.. 1 credit play quite far already.. hahaz...
then went over to orchard!! hahaz.. did shopping with the grp... which led us to topman.. think kl first time there also.. loLx.. saw a shirt quite nice but i already got one so i recommended it to kL.. ys also bought a shirt that i liked alot when i shopped there prior to xmas(but it didnt look good on me lar.. >.<) coz they got a $60 voucher mah.. so also quite shiok.. hahaz... the gals left before dinner when the 3 of us ate at the food republic.. quite ex ar.. only complaining abt it.. loLx..
carried on our shopping at sony gallery, world of sports, flash and splash(where i saw one tee shirt i consider to buy), guess, kinokuniya... then we had supper at taka.. loLx.. as usual its tori q for mE! heheZ.. i just lOVEEeEeeEE tori q.. (the rice and sauce ba.. =p) chit chat alittle before heading over to cineleisure to look at games and shoes.. also popped by I21.. the apple shop.. damn cool lar their laptops.. with pc monitors the size of those huge screened plasma tv.. think need wireless keyboard and mouse and must use on sofa... like 2m away from the com.. hahaz... the laptops are nice ar.. maybe i'll get it for a change.. experience the macintosh oS...
now im back home.. preparing my uniform for tml.. (need to fold and put on rank one leiz..) when it sinks in that its 2006.. work again.. loLx.. but well still feeling alittle gian abt my new unit.. hope my platoon rocks!! hahaz... so far my new year aspirations as a person working ar.. must keep it up!! hehZ.. have a great week ahead bros!

yoZ peEpz~! how's ya~?!! loLX.. i spent my nYE at exPO yuPz... mAmbo jambO... went there like 10pm lidat ar... coz first met the canoes, namely monica, daren, hao yi, pok ming, weiliang at tampines mall for dinner at genki sushi... loLX.. monica getting whiter atnd aftter le.. loLx.. moreover she admits to it leiz.. but still dont wanna do anything abt it.. loLx.. tcmi~~ they still had gelare ice cream for deserts~! loLX
so off we went to expo after that via train.. first time i ever been to expo actually.. met manda there later with her mambo bf.. loLx.. its those 'attention seeking platform dancing type'.. aiyoz.. he dance until so shiok then neglect her... so bad~! hahaz but she did join us too lar... saw dominic and nonis daniel there too.. hahaz... even brandon!! later keng yang called me letting me know they were coming...
but was surprised to know so many of our course guys actually came... at first they had all planned to go MoS got table.. but last min they were told got no reservations.. then somemore only some of our guys had reserves... cant tell what it means too lar.. like ultimate pang sey.. so the guys queued up until du lan then came over to expo too... met up with jon tan, jon chen, guan yong, zhi heng, wei yang, keng yang and kai kian too... hahaz... sometimes i dance with weiliang they all abit stiff.. but when i went to dance with keng yang and co like super high.. loLX~!
but well it was a middle age class kinda event... given alot of old guys and women were there.. no youngsters or anything... somemore the music was damn boring at first.. only can shake here and there nia... the drinks were the biggest dissapointment.. only like 12 drinks on sale coz the bartenders also look like impromptu, inexperienced ones.. the drinks were so dilute.. and served in plastic cups i couldn't get high from drinking at all!
but well things picked up like at 2am when the music started getting better.. then i also danced with the guys.. quite high so i also high.. loLx.. later audrey also came along to our grp so we danced mambo.. trying hard to follow the hand movements.. loLx.. some are really nice.. like 'uptown girl' 'that thing you do' those kinda hot mambo songs really got us down manz... it all ended at 4.30am when the dJ stopped just when getting high.. hahaz.. so took cab back with pok, audrey and daren... reached home abt 5am still raining and slept... now just woke up at 12nn still raining~~ hahaz.. i dunno what to do today sia.. no objectives~~ blEahz
